Cookie policy
This English version is a translation provided for convenience; the French version prevails.
In short: this website sets no tracking, audience measurement or advertising cookies. That is why it does not show you a consent banner.
Cookies and local storage: what are we talking about?
A cookie is a small file that a website saves in your browser. Local storage is a similar mechanism that allows a website to keep a piece of information on your device. Swiss law (Art. 45c of the Telecommunications Act) requires visitors to be informed of such storage, of its purpose, and of how to refuse it.
What this website saves
Nothing, as long as you do not make one of the following choices yourself:
- ds-theme (browser local storage): the light or dark theme you have chosen. Kept until you choose "Automatic" or delete the website's data.
- ds-bilan-nlpd (browser local storage): your answers to the FADP check-up, so that you can come back to it later. Kept until you click "Delete my answers" or delete the website's data.
- ds-contact (browser session storage): if you click "Send us this check-up" or "Talk to us about it", the subject and summary to be carried over into the contact form. Deleted as soon as the form has read it, and at the latest when the tab is closed.
This information stays on your device. It is never sent to us and cannot be used to identify you: only the message you decide to send with the contact form reaches us.
Technical cookies set by the hosting provider
To protect the website against bots and automated attacks, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a technical cookie essential to the website's security: "__cf_bm", which expires 30 minutes after your last activity on the website, and, if you are asked to complete a check, "cf_clearance". These cookies are used solely to distinguish human visitors from bots; they are used neither for audience measurement nor for advertising. Blocking them may lead to an additional check.
How to refuse or delete
- Do not choose a theme, or choose "Automatic" at the bottom of the page: nothing is saved, and a previous choice is deleted.
- On the FADP check-up page, "Delete my answers" removes your answers.
- You can also delete this website's data at any time in your browser settings (under "Privacy", "Cookies and site data").
Refusing does not prevent you from using the website: it then simply follows the light or dark setting of your device, and the check-up does not keep your answers from one visit to the next.
Linked websites
The websites we link to, such as Google, apply their own cookie rules as soon as you open them.
